Automatic Paintball Guns

Automatic paintball guns are markers that can shoot several rounds in just one pull of the trigger. It can shoot continuously until you release the trigger or if you run out of ammunition. Unlike the semi automatic ones, automatic paintball guns are more powerful and can shoot faster, however this type of marker is usually not allowed in most tournaments.

Automatic paintball guns are ideal but not limited to beginners who have no substantial experience in shooting. They can enable a user to shoot multiple shots at a time, therefore, raising the percentage of a sure hit by 80%. However the advantage is often the reason why most tournament officials do not allow guns like this during paintball games.

Here are some other considerations before you decide on buying a fully automatic paintball gun:

1.    Most paintball arenas do not allow automatic paintball guns because the random fire can mess the entire place up with too much paint.  This makes it hard for team members to see who shot first and who got hit first.

2.    Automatic paintball guns require costly accessories for owners to utilize their full potential. Electronic hoppers are a good accessory and are other support accessories are required to help the user handle the firing speed.

3.    Most players only respect players who are an accurate shot.  Anyone can win a paintball game with a rapid fire marker.

Experienced paintball players seem to look up to those who can hit opponents with as few shots as possible.  Anyone in the paintball field who can deliver a sure shot or a “one hit kill shot” to his opponent is considered a great player. So if you can only hit enemies because you have an automatic marker, then you’ll get no respect in the field.

Sure, paintball can be played with automatic paintball guns; however, you may not be able to play at most fields.  Automatic paintball guns are strictly regulated.  If you want to play with an automatic marker, then you’ll need to play in a private field or location.   If you want to play paintball and experience the real thrill of this game, then semi automatic guns are more ideal and will showcase your skill in shooting a target with accuracy.  A good semi automatic gun would be the Spyder MR1 paintball gun.
