Why I Chose A Canon Powershot Pink Digital Camera
When my last camera decided to stop working, I knew I would have to find a replacement rather quickly. I tend to take lots of photos, mostly of family stuff, and couldn’t have imagined going more than a few days without a camera. My previous digital camera, a silver colored Canon Powershot, had a good run – 6 years, actually. However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and this camera was no exception. It had been a long time since I’d researched the camera market, so I really had no idea of where to turn to find the best advice, selection and prices. Fortunately, I decided to do some searching online, which yielded me with more results than I ever could have wanted.
Fortunately, having some prior experience with the Canon Powershot line of cameras, I knew that another Powershot would be a safe bet. I also found out from searching online that the Powershot series had been given a facelift by Canon, and the cameras were now available in a variety of colors. I was immediately drawn to their pink camera, the Powershot SD1200IS. Not only was this a great looking camera, but it also came ready to perform right out of the box. For just $190.00, the camera came with features like facial recognition, image stabilization and a generous 10MP of resolution. Apart from the included features, what really sold me on this particular camera was the sheer number of positive user reviews I found on Amazon. These reviews were from people that had actually purchased and used this specific camera, so I felt like I could really trust the opinions being given.
I’ve had my hot pink digital camera for about 3 months now, and I must say that it’s such an improvement over the old Powershot model that had served me well for so many years. This camera starts up quick, shoots great shots and looks beautiful. I highly recommend the Canon Powershot SD1200IS if you’re looking for a dependable, high performing camera. Just make sure you get it in pink.
