Safety issues with bicycles

Biking is a passion for many people, why it shouldn’t be? It involves the adventure, fun and thrill. More over it gives satisfaction of doing something different than others. Yes that matters a most. Unfortunately biking is not away from accidental injuries and some common problems. So every biker goes from a phase of some injuries and come out of it. The Phase is actually a necessary one for some experience. The bike injuries are unavoidable but the desire and motivation required for coming out of them is essential in every biker. I have seen many people continue biking after some life threatening injuries also. That’s the spirit within them.

Bike injuries are classified into two main types accidental and other.

a)      Accidental Injuries: Accident is a common thing when you are using or riding any moving things. Sometimes the accidents are due to your own mistake and sometimes they are due to some other person’s mistake. In either case the toll need to be bare by you. Accidental injuries can be sometimes life threatening and to avoid any serious implications you should wear the safety accessories for bikes like helmet always. Accidental injuries can be avoided by proper training and at most care when driving the bike.

b)      Other Injuries: These types of injuries include some stress injuries like deformation of leg joints or some other body parts. The main reason behind it is wrong sitting or driving position for long time or wrong fitting of the bicycle parts. To avoid these types of injuries you need to be careful about your sitting position and should do servicing of your bike regularly.

A good Biker will always know these common bike cycle injuries and will take at most care of his or her bike. A regular servicing is must in all aspects.
