Why Familes Love Their Video Game Storage Rack
My youngest brother, Caleb, loves his video games. He loves them so much that he has more than a dozen consoles, hundreds of games, and uncountable magazines, walkthroughs, and cheat books. My family soon learned to appreciate the video game storage rack when he was little, and now it’s simple to keep everything he owns in a neat collection.
The most important storage rack they bought was one that holds all his games in one place. Many of the machines he owns use CDs, so your standard carrier works just fine for those. However, many of the machines he owns (the Nintendo DS comes to mind in particular, or older Nintendo consoles) use different sized cartridges, which are harder to contain without throwing them into a box. We just decided to bite the bullet and purchase a storage rack built specifically for these carts, and so now, instead of a pile of unused games, we have a library lined up along one wall of our game room. It’s convenient, keeps things tidy, and gives him something to brag about when he has his friends over.
We also got containers for the machines themselves, to put them away when not in use. It was not difficult to find containers that the machines could fit nicely into, and then tuck away, or even stack, as they were simple boxes when closed. These left them on hand for whenever he wished to use them, and they were completely out of the way as well. The cords all even fit nicely into the boxes as well! This really led me to believe that video game storage rack, especially if you have multiple game consoles. Your peace of mind will thank you for it!
A magazine rack for his old magazines was our final step. It wasn’t very easy to keep in order, since he has so much loose leaf paper, but every little bit helps. We found that when we at least cleaned up the magazines, it was easier for him to find the walkthroughs he was looking for, and it was easier for us to look at the room!
Overall, I encourage you to consider a process for video game storage, especially if you have multiple game consoles. Your peace of mind will thank you for it!
